Syn-Coplanar Definition:

A conformation in which a hydrogen atom and a leaving group are separated by a dihedral angle of exactly 0°.

Syn-Coplanar Explained:

Atoms, groups, bonds, or other objects lying in the same plane. The Bond rotation changes the eclipsed conformation into an anti-staggered conformation, in which the chlorine atoms are anti-copolanar.
