Hückel’s Rule

Hückel’s Rule Definition:

The requirement for an odd number of p electron pairs in order for a compound to be aromatic.

Hückel’s Rule Explained:

It estimates if a planar ring molecule will have aromatic properties. Aromatic compounds are said to be more stable because of the delocalized cloud electrons, called resonance.
