Graft Copolymer Definition:

A polymer that contains sections of one homopolymer that have been grafted onto a chain of the other homopolymer.

Graft Copolymer Explained:

Synthesizing a graft polymer involves a monomer that has a lower molecular weight that is copolymerized with free radicals. Additionally to the free radicals, the acrylate functionalized macro-monomer is also added to graft.
