Conjugated Diene Definition:

A compound in which two carbon-carbon p bonds are separated from each other by exactly one s bond.

Conjugated Diene Explained:

Consisting of Hydrocarbon molecules which have tow different states of carbon double bonds. (represented with double lines)A diene is conjugated when two double bonds are only separated by one carbon-carbon single bond (represented with a single line). You can identify a diene by seeing the formation of the bonds like this: double bond, single bond, double bond.
