Doublet

Doublet Definition:

In NMR spectroscopy, a signal that is comprised of two peaks.

Doublet Explained:

Doublets occur when there is a single proton next to the proton you are observing. An example of this is 2-methyl cyclohexanone, If you were to look at the CH3 group, you would see a doublet because there is one proton on the neighboring carbon.
